Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel Announces Atlantic Trailer Acquisition

VOORHEES, NJ - Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. has acquired certain assets of Atlantic Trailer & Equipment Sales, Inc. in Sewell, NJ. In connection with the acquisition, the owner of Atlantic Trailer, Bill Fryer and two salesmen, Dave Diano and Marc Staley have joined the sales team at Hale Trailer's Voorhees, NJ branch. "This acquisition joins two great sales organizations which will allow Hale Trailer to better serve our customers", said Hale Trailer President, Barry Hale.

Hale Trailer is one of the largest independent full service trailer dealerships with (12) East Coast branches from Maine to Florida. It sells new and used trailers and aftermarket parts, provides general repair and service to trailers and offers trailers for short or long term rental. Atlantic Trailer serves the specialized flatbed and lowboy trailer market selling new and used specialized trailers since 1985. "I am looking forward to working with one of the most respected and successful trailer dealerships in the country and to be able to offer our customers one stop shopping for all their trailer needs", said Bill Fryer.

Bill Fryer founded Atlantic in 1985. Over the last 22 years he built the Company into a leading distributor of new and used specialized trailers. Atlantic has been the number one dealer for Talbert and a leading dealer for Fontaine, Landoll and several other manufacturers. Prior to starting Atlantic, Bill worked in the heavy haul industry with Dewey Blanton Trucking and South Jersey Trailer, the predecessor to Atlantic. He is a graduate of Rutgers University. Bill and his wife Joan reside in Sewell, NJ. They have two children, Lindsay a graduate of Drexel University and Carly who is currently attending Drexel.

Dave Diano began his career in trailer sales with Atlantic in 1989. He became sales manager of Atlantic in 1998. Dave attended Camden County College and Rowan University. He and his wife Teresa live in Laurel Springs, NJ.

Marc Staley started as a sales representative with Atlantic in 2002. He attended Burlington County College and presently resides in Mt. Holly, NJ with his wife Rebekah. Marc and Rebekah are expecting their first child in March.

Hale Trailer sells and rents a full line of semi-trailers including vans, flats, walking floors, dumps, reefers, tanks, lowboys and tag-a-longs. The Company maintains a $45 million inventory of new and used trailers, a trailer rental fleet of more than 10,000 units and a $6 million inventory of after market parts. Hale Trailer employs approximately 280 people.
